Visiting hours

Would you like to visit someone at Wörgl Private Hospital? Visitors are always wel­come here. We recommend using the time between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and being con­siderate of others’ need for a good night’s sleep. For visits out­side these hours, please call the ward to make brief arrange­ments.

Our doors are locked after 8:00 p.m. Please ring the bell at the main en­trance to be let in.

Being careful not only protects your loved ones, but also other patients and the hospital team.

Are you healthy yourself?

Please do not visit if you have a conta­­gious illness – the immune system is weakened when people are un­­well. In this case, please tele­­phone the patient instead.

Hand hygiene is important

Please take care to wash your hands when you visit some­­one in the hospital.

Resting periods

After an operation, patients often need more rest than usual. If the patient has several rela­­tives who would like to visit, please arrange this amongst your­­selves in such a way that the patient has plenty of time to rest.

Flowers as a present

Flowers are a lovely gesture and bring our patients a lot of joy. We have vases available for that pur­pose. Please note that, for hygiene reasons, only cut flowers are per­mitted, as potted plants may harbor germs and there­fore may not be brought into the hospital.

Please note:

We are committed to protecting our patients’ privacy. For this reason we do not allow photo­graphy or filming within the hospital pre­mises. This measure also serves to protect the personal rights of all indi­viduals in the hospital.

Media represen­tatives are re­quested to contact the Director’s office or Corporate Communications in advance.

Support from relatives

Relatives and trusted friends can be a great help to patients. Whether for psycho­logical support. Whether to help keep an over­view of all the informa­tion pro­vided.

  • You are wel­come to accom­pany the patient to medical consul­tations or dis­cussions with the nursing team, and help the patient keep track of every­thing that gets men­tioned
  • After­wards you can chat with the patient about any con­cerns he/she may have.
  • If you are not sure how you can best support the patient during his/her hos­pital stay, please ask the care team for advice.
  • The medical team is not able to give infor­mation about the health of a patient to any­one else without the ex­press per­mission of the patient. This means the patient must specify you by name if you are a trusted person who is en­titled to receive any such medical infor­mation.

Companion

If you wish, a companion can assist you during your stay with us and also stay over­night in your room. Having a trusted person nearby can make things much easier and pro­vide a sense of security. Please contact our ad­missions office for in­forma­tion about options and costs.

Alternatively, there are also hotels, inns, and vaca­tion rentals available in the area.
